A Little Update

I have been stitching on my Chinese Garden, of course, so I have finished the stitching in Part 3.  I haven't finished 2 or 4 yet, but I will soon.  The back stitching hasn't been done on anything, Big Ole Smile, but I will get to it at some point.

I needed to take a current picture of my Hummingbird Sparkly Garden for Chatelaine Stitchers and the light finally helped me out today.  I had ordered some large 24 inch extender bars for when I start beading.  I didn't want to roll on the scroll bars even though I bought some batting.  Anyway, I think the pictures turned out great seeing the whole design!  I also included a corner where you can see some of the designs, they look like flowers to me, of the fabric dyeing.  In case anyone doesn't remember, or you are new to my blog, the fabric is PTP 28 ct French Lilac Lugana.  I am going to get back to stitching on this soon, maybe even this week.  I only have the outer border specialty stitches and the flowers left.  I also still need to stitch the metallic boxes around the four flowers in the center that beads are going to be in.  Then it is something like 5890 beads, or something.  I did count them up twice a couple of months ago, but I think I am blocking the amount from my memory, lol.

I am hoping to do more stitching this weekend, but right now I can't stop playing games, lol.  I found this game on the iPad, Smurfs Village and am addicted.  Usually I just play Sudoku or hidden item games, so I don't know why all of a sudden I downloaded this and started playing.

I have been thinking that I may try to take some pictures of my fabrics that I am planning on using for my Chats.  I need to double check the measurements before I put them on the scroll rods so I may click some pics and show what fabric I am planning on.  I know sometimes, especially for me, it is hard to imagine without seeing pictures on the internet.  I have a PTP Highland Lugana that is so light it looks nothing like the linen colors on their site.

Happy Stitching Everyone and have an Awesome Weekend!!

Looking lovely, as always, LissAnne. I have had that problem too, with the colors not being quite right. I can't wait to see what you have in the wings!!

Soooooo pretty, the both of them, Liss!!! :D

Lugana dyes so much lighter than linen. :( But I think with the Chats, the lighter the fabbie, the better.
