Little more stitching done...

On Chinese Garden late last night. I have still been fighting a migraine, it has never fully gone away. I will sleep for a little while then wake up do something , like stitching, to try to relax, and then it comes back. Thanks for all the well wishes in the comments and hopefully it will break soon. My migraines usually stem from barometric pressure changes, but I am not sure that is what is causing this long of a one this time. My sleep patterns are 100% off now, but there is nothing I can do about it but catch a little bit of sleep here and there.

I did a few stitches with the grey silks on Chinese Garden and they just shine and shimmer! I did my 3/4 stitches wrong but I like the way they look so I guess that is all that really matters. I ended up doing a half cross and then coming up in the middle and going back over the thread and in the corner. This makes some of them going against the lay of all the full crosses, which I was taught never to do, but it gives it more depth and dimension to me, so I will keep on doing it for this project.

Anyway, just wanted to say thanks to everyone and I am off to see if I can try to sleep again. Happy stitching!

Jo who can't think of a clever nickname said...

I think you should do the 3/4 stitches in your own way and call it a new speciality stitch!
I love the purple fabric on Hummingbird and can't wait to see what you choose for the new projects.
